The Latest edition of the joeshootsbirds.com calendar is here and I can’t wait to share it. Picking just a few of the 10s of thousands of shots taken this year was a challenge. I wanted to capture a diverse selection of subjects doing what they do best: being wild. My goal was to show the Loon, Looning and Harbor Seal, Sealing. Hopefully the emotion came through.

It still astounds me that all these creatures exist and we can see them for ourselves if we just take the time to find them and observe the amazing behavior.
