The Adirondacks are a special place to view wildlife. The rugged mountainous terrain is peppered with lakes, rivers and streams which meander throughout. Animals can hide just about anywhere. If you take to the water your chances of finding wildlife definitely increase. Here’s some of my favorite sightings.
When it gets dark, it gets really dark . In fact the darkest skies in the Northeast Can be found in the Adirondack Park since light pollution from urban areas are many miles away. Combine that fact together with an abundance of lakes and mountains and you have the ingredients for great Astrophotography.
