Fort De Soto is located just south of St. Petersburg Florida. It’s a well known spot to find lots of shorebirds and other wildlife. In fact upon arriving at the North Beach parking lot at 9am I found more photographers than beachgoers. The many shallow tide-pools make an idea spot to find more birds that I can possibly name. The most obvious included Pelicans, Royal Terns, Black Skimmers, Osprey and a variety of Gulls.
