The Adirondacks Park encompasses 6.2 million acres in northern New York. Small towns dot the landscape and offer endless recreational opportunities for anyone wishing to escape every day life. During a recent visit to The Fulton Chain of Lakes which are located just north of Old Forge, NY I was able to photograph some of what nature has to offer. Although the Common Loon was my primary objective there were many other animals whom I had the pleasure of meeting. I also used the opportunity to photograph the Milky Way since the darkest skies in the Northeast are located within The Adirondack Park. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from my visit.
