Another exciting year photographing wildlife. I could not put my favorite picture on the cover because then I would only see it when the calendar is closed. Instead it’s August where we get to see a Loon with two chicks hitching a ride. What a thrill to witness.
A Loon running on water (Notes Page) is a sight I won’t soon forget. They need up to 1/4 mile of runway to become airborne so the running goes on for an eternity before the takeoff.
I hope you enjoy each and every month as much as I enjoyed bringing the pictures to you.
When open the calendar measures 11 by 17 inches. The top half features an 11″ x 8 1/2″ photograph with the month’s calendar below. It’s printed on card stock with a glossy finish.
