Turtle Bay is located in Redding, California and is located along the Sacramento River. “Turtle Bay Exploration Park” as it is known, offers miles of trails, an eatery and the iconic Sundial Bridge which is a footbridge crossing the Sacramento River. I found lots of unique wildlife while wandering the paths and surprisingly added three birds to my life-list during my short two hour visit. An Eagles Nest with the well known Eagles featured on a streaming web cam are also residents in the park. Here are some of my favorites pictures from the afternoon.
